Grande Cache Transition House Society has supported women and their children since 1985. We are the only domestic violence shelter in Grande Cache. The nearest alternatives are more than 100 kilometres away.
We provide a 24-hour safe house and information service for women and their children. Our phone is answered around the clock. When you need us, we come to you.

Being part of Grande Cache means showing up for each other. Twice a month we host Stress Away Days at our Comfort Zone drop-in space, with crafts, activities, shared meals, and good company. They are free and open to all women in the community.
Through the year we also run school and community workshops, and our annual Golf Tournament brings Grande Cache together to support women and families right here at home. Check our Events page for what is coming up.
